American TESOL Institute's Professional Development in Training courses focuses on meeting the challenges of new and experienced trainers of current times. To help them deliver effectively by optimizing their training skills and training environment.


Degree level proficiency in English language is a pre requisite. It aims to enhance the skill of existing trainers and those who want a transition from a teacher's profile to that of a trainer's.


The program has three levels - Starter Level, Master Level and Expert Level.


Starter Trainer Course (3 months, 60 hours, arranged in 4 phases) is a certificate course. It aligns the mindset of the trainer to the needs and the expectations of the training group. It equips the trainer with the tools and techniques to build rapport with the participant group, planning effective sessions and healthy group dynamics.


Diploma is awarded on successful completion of the ATI's Master Trainer Course (6 months, 80 hours, 8 phases). It helps trainers to be a motivator and stay motivated himself. It equips the trainer with techniques to build rapport with the participant group, planning effective sessions, holding the attention and maintaining healthy group dynamics. Design multi-sensory sessions, deliver lively presentations, handle interpersonal issues and encourage constructive feedback, handle documentation and training aids.


The Expert Trainer course, (8 months, 120 hours, 8 phases and research modules) is beneficial for extremely focused training professionals. It teaches mentoring approaches and techniques, experienced trainer's mind-set. It deals on creative ways to start a training session, engage multifaceted group, 'active' listening to increase the effectiveness of the training, handling friction and resistance and participative learning.
